Mussolini built the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana as a monument to permanence — travertine arches stacked six high over Rome's EUR district, designed to outlast the regime that raised it. Photographed in black and white, the building becomes pure geometry: repetition, weight, and a silence that has nothing to do with the history behind it.
This black and white print is produced as a museum-quality archival pigment print on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper, with a 5cm white border. Available at 137.8 x 90cm, with custom sizes and framing available on request.
Part of Tom Parsons' architecture and street photography collection — original prints for collectors, designers, and considered spaces.
The smaller print is an open edition. The larger format is a numbered, limited edition of 25.
